What is Pashmina?

Pashmina stems from the Persian word "Pashm," which means wool.  The woolen fleece of goats has been used for thousands of years to make high-quality shawls that bear the same name.  Our unique Pashminas differ greatly from the average shawls in the market.  First, they are made of a finely balanced blend of Pashmina and Silk. The combination of materials gives you both warmth and softness without the excess weight and rough feel of wool shawls. Our patterned shawls are woven, never printed which makes them completely reversible, like owning two shawls in one.

It is common to be confused about pashmina selections on the web. If the price seems to be too inexpensive the fabrics are not authentic. Unfortunately there are many pashminas made in China out of viscose and non-natural materials that bear a stick on Pashmina/Silk tag. We don't offer cheap Chinese imports and you won't get a pashmina that is so thin and sheer that it might as well not even exist.

And remember, we also offer free standard U.S. shipping on all orders and we are located in the United States, so you won't be waiting for 2-3 weeks to receive your order from overseas! We searched over 6 years worldwide to find the best pashminas in existence and did all the work for you!


What quality is the pashmina?

Our patterned pashminas are 70% cashmere/30% silk. Our solid pashminas are 70% Pashmina/30% silk and our solid water pashminas are a light 50% cashmere/50% silk blend. They are all are made from the finest of the above materials.

Why are your Pashminas available at such a low price?

We are direct manufacturers and therefore no middlemen are involved which drastically reduces the price for our customers.



Are the pashminas washable?

Our pashminas are made from authentic natural materials and are therefore dry clean only. They can be spotwashed with woolite or baby shampoo for a small stain.  Read more about Pashmina Care.


Do pashminas wrinkle?


Our pashminas are thick and tend not to wrinkle. The best way to store them is to fold them neatly. A cool iron can be used to get any small wrinkles out if creasing occurs.


What is your privacy policy?


We take your privacy seriously. We never sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personal information to any outside party. We rarely send out marketing emails and only send them out occasionally. And of course you can request to opt of such e-mails. Read more of our Privacy Policy.


Do you offer discounts?

Do you sell wholesale?

We are direct to the customer with no middleman so our prices for such quality pashminas are already low. Please contact us however, for large quantities and we will check to see if we can lower the prices.

Yes, we value the security of your credit card information. Your credit card transaction takes place on a secure server using SSL technology which encrypts your credit cards details.


How do I get free shipping?

Free standard Ground shipping is available for shipments within the United States and is applied automatically with your purchase.

Are the animals and workers treated fairly?

The pashmina goats are sheered each year and never killed for their cashmere. We also require our suppliers to guarantee that they provide excellent working conditions and do not use any child labor.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

Time Period- You have 30 days from the receipt of your item(s) to request refunds and exchanges. We will determine when you have received the items based on tracking the shipment.

Condition- Items that are returned must be in brand new condition when they are received by us, No Exceptions. Items must be in original packaging with all tags included to the item. If items appear to be used or worn a $10 re-stocking fee will apply to each individual item.

Return Instructions & Address- When sending back returns or exchanges, we request that you include a copy of the shipping receipt along with a short note to let us know whether this is a return or an exchange. If you are exchanging items, please make sure to not the style number of the new item you wish to receive from your exchange.

Return Costs- You are solely responsible for any and all costs that are needed to return items. We cannot be held liable for lost packages that are returned to us so please consider purchasing insurance on the package to make sure it gets back to us. Your card will be billed a small fee for shipping if it is an exchange and we must return a package back to you.

Cost Discrepancies-

  • Higher Priced Items: If you are exchanging an item for a higher priced item, we will charge the difference to the credit card you made the original purchase with.
  • Lower Price Items: If you are exchanging an item for a lower priced item, we will refund the difference to the credit card you made the original purchase with.

 

Shipping Costs- All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping with your order, your order will be refunded or exchanged less the cost of shipping.

 

 

How can make a process a payment for my pashminas?

 

We use Google checkout. You can make purchases through Google Checkout using a credit, debit, or gift card with the following logos:

The types of cards accepted through Google Checkout are based on the seller's location. Other types of payments, such as checks, money orders, and direct bank account debit, aren't currently accepted.

Charges on Your Card Statement

Each time you make a purchase through Google Checkout, we'll let you know exactly how a charge will appear on your credit/debit card -- once you complete an order, check your receipt for details. You may also notice temporary authorizations.

Your credit/debit card will be charged by the seller, through your Google Checkout account. Note that the timing of the charge is based on the seller's discretion and the Google Checkout settings the seller has selected in their account. The standard format for charges on your statement is GOOGLE*Seller's name, but please check your receipt for exact details. Google doesn't share your full payment details with the seller.

 

Shipping Information:

Standard shipping may take from 2-6 business days to reach addresses in the United States. We make every attempt to ship your item on the same business day (M-F) if received by 3:30 PM central time.

International shipments must go through individual countries' Customs clearance so an estimated time of delivery is difficult. Please note that international shipments may be charged duties or taxes, we are not responsible for such additional charges. We make every effort to eliminate or minimize such charges by making it clear that orders are shipped as "Gifts."
